Jet-Tech Propulsion LLC (Jet-Tech) through a partnership with Diesel Outboards LLC, introduced a 300HP OXE Marine Diesel Outboard with a new ultra-high-performance waterjet at the International Workboat Show on December 1st. The BMW B57 engine is a proven performer and coupled with an innovative waterjet, this is a truly remarkable marine engine. Steve Palmer, Anchor Innovation/Anchor Boatworks CEO stated, "As a Navy small boat maintainer, I see this as a potential game changer for shipboard RIB applications and other DoD organizations. The Navy has worked hard to get gasoline off Navy ships and inboard diesels on 7m/11m RIBs have accomplished this. Unfortunately, maintaining diesel inboards and sterndrives has proven to be challenging due to high op-tempo launching and recovering the RIBs from Navy ships and difficulty training sailors to maintain inboard diesels and sterndrives.  Having an integral engine/drive unit that can be replaced in a couple of hours could increase readiness dramatically. This rugged and efficient waterjet will increase safety while working in proximity to ships, boats and divers, as well as contested waters with excessive debris." Anchor is proud to support Diesel Outboards and Jet-Tech with DoD and Foreign Military Sales servicing and technical efforts.
