Frank Brandon
CEO
Frank Brandon is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Anchor Nuclear Solutions, where he leads the company’s vision to establish the operational, workforce, and governance foundations required for the next generation of commercial nuclear power. Drawing on more than three decades of leadership in the U.S. Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Program, Frank helps advanced reactor developers, utilities, maritime organizations, and first-time nuclear owners build the disciplined operating organizations necessary to safely deploy and sustain advanced nuclear technologies.
A retired U.S. Navy Captain and former Chief of Staff to the Chief of Naval Operations, Frank directed enterprise-level strategy and coordinated global initiatives with senior defense, diplomatic, industry, and legislative leaders on issues including advanced nuclear systems, strategic deterrence, and international partnerships such as AUKUS. Earlier in his career, he led nuclear departments aboard multiple aircraft carriers, oversaw certification activities supporting more than 20 naval reactors, and modernized fleet-wide nuclear training and operational assessment programs that strengthened readiness across thousands of operators and technicians.
Today, Frank combines that operational experience with commercial advanced nuclear leadership, advising reactor developers, government organizations, and emerging owner-operators on organizational design, operational readiness, workforce development, licensing preparation, and long-term operating models. His leadership reflects the conviction that the same principles of operational excellence, accountability, and safety culture that made the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program the world’s benchmark can successfully enable the future of commercial nuclear energy.
Anthony Huston is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Anchor Nuclear Solutions, where he leads the company’s commercial strategy, strategic partnerships, government engagement, and capital formation. He focuses on helping advanced nuclear technologies transition from technical innovation to successful commercial deployment by connecting developers, investors, government stakeholders, and end users into sustainable business partnerships.
A recognized entrepreneur, investor, and commercial strategist, Anthony has been an early contributor to multiple advanced reactor ventures through equity investments, joint venture development, and innovative financing strategies supporting reactor deployment and nuclear lifecycle projects. His experience spans building regulated investment platforms, leading global business development for emerging technologies, and creating high-value relationships across industry, government, and institutional capital markets.
Earlier in his career, Anthony co-founded and led a pioneering financial technology company, scaling the business from startup to a successful public offering in just four years. That experience established his reputation for building and commercializing complex ventures in highly regulated industries. Having lived and worked throughout Asia, Europe, and the Americas, Anthony brings a global perspective to the future of advanced nuclear energy. Outside the energy sector, he is a World Champion yachtsman in the International One Design class and a lifelong advocate for sustainable maritime innovation, reinforcing ANS’s commitment to advancing clean, resilient energy solutions worldwide.
